MERIDEN, Connecticut - Pyramid Time Systems, a premier manufacturer of Synchronized Wall Clock Systems, announces that it will be attending the Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo, held September 17-19 in Boston Massachusetts. The HFSE is where industry leaders, from design firms to healthcare owners, come together for 3 days to share best practices, explore new concepts and discover products and solutions. The mission of the Symposium is to create a multi-disciplinary environment that inspires to evoke change and the advancement of better delivery of healthcare through the physical space. Pyramid Time Systems will showcase its RF Wireless and Power over Ethernet Synchronized Clock Systems at Booth #623.
Pyramid Time Systems’ Radio Frequency Wireless and Power over Ethernet Synchronized Clocks ensure dependable, officially traceable time throughout an entire facility. Perfectly synchronized time promotes productivity, efficiency and compliance in the healthcare environment. Time discrepancies between wall clocks can be disruptive to day-to-day operations, procedures, and shift changes. Digital and analog synchronized clocks will be on display at the Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo.
Pyramid’s RF Wireless Clocks receive a dependable wireless time signal from an Ethernet-based transmitter centrally located within signal range of the clocks. Every clock is synchronized to a selected NTP time server, ensuring accurate time is displayed throughout an entire building or complex. PoE-enabled clock models continuously receive power and time data using the IEEE802.3af standard over a single Ethernet cable, making them an ideal synchronized timekeeping solution for Ethernet-rich facilities, such as hospitals.
In addition to synchronized clocks, Pyramid Time Systems is showcasing its TimeTrax™ Code Blue Digital Timer. The timer system precisely monitors elapsed and remaining time during emergency response, lab testing, and other time-sensitive events. The systems can also be used in Emergency Rooms, Operating Rooms and Simulation Labs to effectively assess elapsed time during patient procedures. When not in timer mode, the digital clock can be used in conjunction with the TimeTrax™ Synchronized Clock System to provide accurate synchronized time throughout an entire healthcare facility.
Pyramid will also unveil its new white LED Power Over Ethernet Digital Clocks. “The addition of the white LED digital clock series effectively meets the needs of large-scale public facilities by providing a highly visible, and aesthetically pleasing synchronized time source,” says John Bechara, Director of Client Services. The white LED digital clocks are available in two size/digit formats; 4” digit, hour/minutes (00:00), and 4” digit, hour/minutes/seconds (00:00:00). The extra-large 4” digits and non-glare polycarbonate lens provide up to 250’ of viewing distance for long hallways or expansive areas. A software interface (TimeTrax Sync™ software sold separately) enables network settings, NTP server selection, custom Daylight Saving Time, and universal or individual time source/zone selection.
